Butter, Soave, and Parmesan Pasta

Butter, Soave, and Parmesan Pasta


Ingredients:

1 package of Rossi Pasta (your choice of flavor)

1/4 cup butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 medium onion, diced

1 cup Soave wine

1/2 teaspoon dried basil or a few fresh leaves, diced

1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

salt and pepper


DIRECTIONS:

1. Put on 4-5 quarts of water to boil.

2. In a large frying pan on medium heat, melt butter with olive oil to foam. Add and sauté onions.

3. Add Soave and cook for 2-3 minutes.

4. Add basil, salt, and pepper to taste.

5. Lay pasta into rapidly boiling water, stir once or twice and cook to directions on package.

Taste test. Drain pasta and incorporate with sauce.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.

 

Serves 4
